We stayed on a farm called Upcott Farm, Burrington,High Bickington, North Devon. The owners names were the Elworthy's . Are they still living there. I have many fond memories.I do miss this place and I hope that one day I will be able to return from New Zealand where I am living now and revisit your beautiful village. I have photos of the times I spent down during my visits there. My Father was evacuated during world war two as a child to this same farm, hence how we know the owners- Fred and Eva.I believe that the farm has been passed down to the son Ken and his wife Pam Elworthy. They have four sons.My last visit to Devon would have been in 1985, so it is a long time since I have been back. I hope you find this story of interest.
